Calculation Method & Mathematical Formula
The algorithm iterates through the date range checking if each date’s getDay() matches weekend indices (0 for Sunday, 6 for Saturday).
Worked Example
Scenario: November 1, 2026 to November 30, 2026:
- Total Calendar Days: 30 Days.
- Saturdays: 4 Saturdays.
- Sundays: 5 Sundays.
- Total Weekend Days: 9 Days.
