About the Business Days Calculator
When planning contractual deliverables, supply chain shipping dates, or legal notice responses, calendar days do not reflect actual operational time. The Business Days Calculator lets you add or subtract an exact quantity of business days from any starting date, automatically skipping weekends and designated holidays.
How to Use This Calculator

Calculation Method & Mathematical Formula
Starting from StartDate, the algorithm increments or decrements day by day. If the candidate date is neither a configured weekend day nor a listed holiday, the business day accumulator increments until the target count is satisfied.
Worked Example
Scenario: Adding 10 Business Days to Friday, October 2, 2026 (Standard Mon-Fri):
- Start Date: Friday, Oct 2, 2026.
- Days Added: 10 Business Days (skipping 2 weekends = 4 weekend days).
- Result Date: Friday, October 16, 2026.
- Total Elapsed Calendar Days: 14 Days.
